You would like to engage in fitness and nutritional practices that help you care for your body so that you can do these things more efficiently and enjoyably.
But mainstream fitness is often overwhelmingly focused on weight loss and aesthetics than it is on your actual ability to perform the activities you care about with more stamina and ease.
This can result in prescribing punishing workouts and restrictive diets that leave you feeling sore and depleted instead of feeling strong and energized. You are not here to go along to just get along with fitness as usual.
We can do fitness differently.
You tell me how you want to move and feel when participating in the activities that matter most to you. From there, I create a customized weight-neutral program that is appropriate and sustainable for your abilities, skill level and goals. By doing what you want to do (not what diet culture wants you to do), you are resisting and subverting mainstream fitness’s focus on appearance one training session at a time.

Here’s how we can work together to create a just right fitness program for you:
I. STRONG FOUNDATION
This package is ideal if you can commit to 2 days of training per week and you are looking to increase activity, improve health markers (blood pressure, cholesterol, resting heart rate), improve movement quality, increase general fitness, feel good and perform daily activities with more ease and stamina.
Initial health & movement screening with periodic assessments to track progress.
One-on-one 1-hour personal training sessions 2x/week (8 sessions) conducted over Zoom.
A new customized program every 4 weeks.
Exercise selection based on ability, fitness level and specific goals.
Immediate guidance, feedback and modifications provided throughout each training session.
II. FIT FOR A PURPOSE
This package is best if you have a more specific performance goal in mind such as training for a challenging hike, preparing to get back into a sport after a long hiatus or increasing muscle mass and bone density.
INCLUDES STRONG FOUNDATION, PLUS:
One-on-one 1-hour personal training sessions 3x/week (12 sessions) conducted over Zoom.
Evidence-based nutritional guidance* to adequately fuel activity and recovery.
Tips and strategies for preparing quick, simple and satisfying meals and snacks.
Unlimited email support between sessions.
*Intuitive eating-informed--no diets, meal plans or focus on intentional weight loss.
