If you have fitness goals and you are also feeling overwhelmed by the thought of jumping into a full exercise program, start small.
The point is to pick an activity that is so simple, easy and enjoyable for you that you have absolutely no resistance to doing it.
Then commit to practicing that activity at a frequency that feels easy and doable. When in doubt, err on the side of “too easy”. After 2 weeks see if you’re ready to add another stretch, do a few more repetitions or go for more time/distance.
Consistently showing up for a regular practice creates a container where you can make gradual progress toward your fitness goals in a manageable, sustainable and enjoyable way.
